festival-mr software package provides festival text to speech synthesizer for Marathi language, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install festival-mr
festival-mr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the festival-mr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep festival-mr *
You will get with festival-mr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
